The Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Cranes swept past the Ann Arbor Greenhills Gryphons 65-36 in CHSL action. The win moves Cranbrook to 3-1 on the season, while Greenhills falls to 1-1.

Cranbrook senior Cam Garner had 18 points, while senior Miles Pistner had 13 points on the night. Greenhills junior Finn Klein and sophomore Ryder Fried both had 11 points to lead the Gryphons in the loss.

Cranbrook got off to a fast start, with Garner leading the way with three different steal-and-scores in the first half. A big 3-point shot by junior Brandon McCaskill helped the Cranes established the early lead.

Klein and Fried answered in-kind for Greenhills to help the Gryphons narrowed the lead before the end of the second quarter.

Cranbrook led 29-17 at the half.

The second half saw the Cranes come alive, with Pistner hitting back-to-back 3-pointers to give the offensive thrust. Greenhills had steady free throw shooting, but the game fell out of reach for the Gryphons with the solid defensive play of Cranbrook.

Cranbrook moves on to face Marine City Cardinal Mooney on the road, while Greenhills travels to face Royal Oak Shrine in more CHSL action.
