Brian Leigeb inducted in class of 2018 for the H.H. Dow High School Athletic Hall of Fame

Brian Leigeb was a five-time varsity letter winner at Dow. He played three years of varsity basketball, earning All-SVL honors as a senior.

In football, Leigeb was named First Team All-SVL as a junior and as a senior. He was recognized as Honorable Mention All-State in 1995 and was team MVP in 1996.

At Central Michigan University, Leigeb started 42 straight games at defensive back from 1997-2000. With 487 tackles, he holds the record for career tackles at CMU, as well as the record for most tackles in a single game (26).

In his senior year, Leigeb was captain at CMU, named Most Valuable Player, and received the Dobrowski Leadership Award.

After graduating from CMU, Leigeb was a member of the NFL's Indianapolis Colts for two seasons. He played in 15 games with the Colts and one AFC playoff game during the 2002 season.
