Cass Tech 2017 WR Donovan Peoples-Jones and Renaissance 2016 OT Alaric Jackson were selected on Monday morning's release of Football Writers Association of America Freshman All-America Team.

Peoples-Jones stared for the Michigan Wolverines as a True Freshman as a receiver and kick/punt returner in 2017. Peoples-Jones is expected to be listed on all Freshman award lists for both the country and Big 10.

On the other side of the Big 10 was Renaissance 2016 OT Alaric Jackson who was a Redshirt Freshman this year for the Hawkeyes and had a great season. The season for Iowa will be remembered by their home upset win over Ohio State which cost OSU a chance to potentially play for the College Football Playoff.
