Division 3 Round 4 Overview: Muskegon is looking to be in a competitive game besides Mona Shores this season while Riverview continues to impress despite injuries piling up.

Last weeks predictions: 3-1 (9-3 Overall)

Semi-Final #1:

#2 Muskegon is just counting down the weeks until they can avenge 4 runner-up appearances in the past 5 years. Unfortunately for #44, Harper Creek, they are a nice team at 12-0, but Muskegon isn't going to stop until they're holding the trophy.

Prediction: Muskegon 56-7

Explanation: If Muskegon can beat DeWitt 49-0, why can't they beat Harper Creek 56-0?

Pre-season Rankings: Muskegon #7

Semi-Final #2:

#27 Farmington Hills Harrison will play #62 Riverview with a chance to play likely Muskegon in the state finals. Harrison like Muskegon has been in complete cruise control in these playoffs playing vs. high-powered offense teams who at times can be hit or miss and Harrison has taken advantage. Riverview, on the other hand, will present a different game plan that involves an extremely physical brand of football with no remorse besides caring if the sticks are moving when the Pirates have the ball. Riverview had a huge upset win over Gibraltar Carlson and then knocked a star-studded Divine Child squad by 5 points.

Prediction: Harrison 24-14

Explanation: We said last week that Riverview would be the underdog the rest of the way and to embrace that role so the same strategy of controlling the ball and putting up points and playing lights out on defense will be key. Harrison should exploit several mismatches with their speed and size. Riverview, unfortunately, has been hit hard by injuries.

Pre-season Rankings: Neither was in the top 25
