The D Zone will be releasing our Top 151 football players in Michigan from the Classes of 2018 to 2020 over the next several days.

The list is based off of our evaluations throughout the off-season and various recruiting events like Mega camps (bigger college camps, Camp Pride, etc. where the top recruits attend and perform vs. equal or better competition played a major role in a lot of our decisions).

Stay tuned also for a major announcement and more rankings to be unveiled exclusively on The D Zone and our social media platforms prior to and during the season.

- List of complete #1-151 Player Rankings and more

151. Cass Tech 2019 LB/RB Marcellus Gaines

- Rounding out the Top 151 is Cass Tech 2019 LB/RB Marcellus Gaines. Gaines is an explosive Linebacker and athlete who moves well from sideline to sideline, but also has the ability to be a downhill type MLB. It remains to be seen how Gaines emerges from practice to compete for playing time, but overall is no a doubt top recruit.

- College interest: Light interest from a lot of schools. Schools are waiting to see more varsity film of the 6' 205 pounder who also holds a 3.7 GPA.

150. Saint Mary's 2019 RB/LB Clarence Glasker III

- Saint Mary's returns their starting QB and top 2 rushers. In Saint Mary's run first offense, you can plug in just about anyone in. Enter Glasker as a productive RB/FB this year and he'll turn eyes. When he's plugged in at LB - Glasker will turn heads as he's physically ready to be the next dominant LB out of the powerhouse D3 program.

- College interest: Glasker has limited film, but as an upcoming junior we expect a lot as OLSM lost a ton of seniors and the pre-season #11 team in the state won't really skip a beat in the win column and that will translate over to recruiting for a player like Glasker.

149. Garden City 2018 ATH Eian Castonguay

- Castonguay caught our eye a few months prior to the 2016 season at the Legacy Fall College Football Expo. Castonguay is a fluid athlete who at 6'1 180 lbs has good size to assist his athletic ability.

- College interest: Castonguay holds an Air Force offer, we'll see what kind of interest he generates with his senior year.

148. Farmington Hills Harrison 2018 OLB Jerrin Harvey

- Harvey put himself on the map over the off-season with big performances across the board. At 6'2 190 lbs Harvey has the frame to build around and athletic ability to be an ideal OLB.

- College interest: Maybe colleges are just waiting to see him as a senior, but one school will be getting a good player when all is said and done.

147. Detroit Central 2020 RB/LB James Wheeler

- Wheeler started the summer off with a bang after being offered by Bowling Green State and Northwood in summer camps. Wheeler despite being a sophomore acts like a senior as he's built to be a consistent every down back in the Detroit Public School League.

- College interest: Despite the 2 schools showing heavy interest, Wheeler didn't get out much this year to camps so expect the sophomore film to open more doors.

146. Charlotte 2018 OL John O'Brian - Bowling Green State (No photo)

- The 6'5" 250 lbs Offensive Tackle is one of the most pleasant surprises across the state. Charlotte which is a few miles south of Lansing is remembered by us for their hotel in 2012 that had the wi-fi out on a Friday during the season. O'Brian isn't keeping the wi-fi off these days, rather O'Brian is keeping opposing lineman in front of him.

- College interest: With an FBS MAC and D2 offer, O'Brian is attracting a lot of interest and FCS programs love him too.

145. Detroit Cody 2020 S Josh Willey

- One of the least known names in Michigan is Cody 2020 S Josh Willey, but when all is said and done he'll be a name that one college fan base knows. At 6'2" 185 lbs, Willey is at a near perfect size to be recruited and he moves extremely well plus is lengthy.

- College interest: Minimal as a freshman, but that will be changing these next 3 years. We're telling you about him now instead of when things pick-up.

144 Community 2018 WR/FS Ceophus Tucker

- Tucker's one handed, Odell Beckham type catch last year went unnoticed until recently. The 6'2 175 lbs athlete is one the best athletes to come out of Detroit Community since they started football in 2011.

- College interest: Tucker is hearing from schools on all levels, but no one has pulled the trigger yet with an offer. He wasn't at many 1-day camps this year, so it will be interesting to see what his senior film will translate to in college interest.

143. Loyola 2018 LB Keith Johnson

- At 6'2 235 lbs Johnson is a great size for a LB/DE combo or even MLB. Schools are shying away from Johnson which leaves him as a tweener between FBS/FCS and a high priority D2/NAIA recruit.

- College interest: Johnson holds 2 early NAIA offers and some other various interest. More schools will fall in love with his size and skill as a senior.

142. Hamtramck 2018 TE Josh Coffee

- Hamtramck is fighting in 2017 to make their first playoff appearance in school history. With Senior TE/WR Joshua Coffee returning the Cosmos have a huge (6'4" 200 lbs) and reliable receiving target who can line up besides the Tackle or out wide.

- College interest: Coffee is very much under the radar at this point. Here's to hoping that trend is reversed in 2017.

141. West Bloomfield 2019 WR Tyrone Broden

- West Bloomfield is stacked around the board and particularly at receiver. Broden at 6'3" 160 lbs is filling out his frame and will look to piece together a solid junior campaign.

- College interest: Broden went to Central Michigan's camp and earned his offer in-person. Colleges will be flocking to West Bloomfield this year, so Broden has yet to really leave an impression.
