The D Zone will be releasing our Top 151 football players in Michigan from the Classes of 2018 to 2020 over the next several days.

The list is based off of our evaluations throughout the off-season and various recruiting events like Mega camps (bigger college camps, Camp Pride, etc. where the top recruits attend and perform vs. equal or better competition played a major role in a lot of our decisions).

Stay tuned also for a major announcement and more rankings to be unveiled exclusively on The D Zone and our social media platforms prior to and during the season.

- List of complete #1-151 Player Rankings and more

10. Farmington Hills Harrison 2018 OLB Ovie Oghoufo - Notre Dame

- Finding a player like Oghoufo is tough in general. Finding Ovie Ohgoufo himself proved not difficult for college coaches as the Farmington Hills Harrison product was a hot recruiting commodity most of his high school career. The elite athlete could realistically succeed this Fall as a; WR, TE, DE, or LB. Where he'll be size wise this time next year when he enrolls at Notre Dame is tough to say as many project him to be an OLB or DE.

College interest: Following his Freshman season, Oghoufo received his first offer from Akron. Since then he has climbed up to 21 offers with the most recent being Stanford. Oghoufo is committed to Notre Dame.

9. Oak Park 2018 OG/DT Marquan McCall - Kentucky (No photo)

- McCall was the 4th player in the Class of 2018 to be offered when Akron offered him back in May 2015. The aggressive and menacing lineman was a no-brainer for one of the states top prospects then and the same scenario holds true today. McCall is so big and strong that opposing lineman aren't even left with a moment to think before McCall is initiating his physical strength on them.

College interest: McCall since being offered as a freshman earned 23 offers. His 10th offer was the school he committed to in Kentucky. Oregon offered a day after he committed.

8. East English Village 2018 OC Tyrone Sampson - Syracuse

- Sampson enters his 4th year of starting for the Bulldogs and his senior season is primed to be a special one. The interior offensive lineman is so strong and balanced that often times it just doesn't matter who Sampson lines across from. Sampson had a dominating off-season in which he was the Offensive MVP for Camp Pride in January and later performed well at the Opening.

College interest: Sampson's first offer was as a Freshman from Akron, his 2nd was from Syracuse which is where he committed to. Sampson holds 14 offers.

7. Muskegon 2019 OL Anthony Bradford

- Muskegon has some very talented lineman come through the doors, but Bradford is on another level. Bradford is a quiet kid but he knows and all of his opponents know when his pads are on, he's looking to deal some serious pain to opponents. In Muskegon's run-first offense it allows for Bradford to utilize his strength and dominate. Bradford has played Offensive Tackle but at 6'5" 330 lbs could also play Guard as well. During the 2016 season, he also completed a pass.

College interest: As unlikely as it seems, SEC program Geogia was the first offer for Bradford during the Spring. He is now up to 6 offers as; Alabama, Kentucky, and Michigan State have also offered him.

6. East Kentwood 2019 OT Logan Brown (No photo)

- East Kentwood is one of the states highest enrolled high schools but it has yet to consistently turn the insane amount of depth into consistency competing for state titles, but recently the Falcons have had some nice recruits come out and Brown will top the list. Brown is your prototype Offensive Tackle as he has the size and athleticism to continue dominating his next 2 years and continue to improve.

College interest: Brown has received a lot of early offers including; Alabama, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Vanderbilt, Wisconsin, etc.

5. Belleville 2019 WR/DB Julian Barnett

- Belleville is loaded all around, particulalary at the skill positions but the Tigers will return their most productive player in Julian Barnett. Barnett is an athletic freak show who at 6'2 180 lbs is very tough for opposing defensivebacks to contain and when he's on defense he has the length and speed to make life tough on opposing quarterbacks and receivers. Barnett should have two incredible years ahead of him.

College interest: Barnett holds 19 offers with the most recent being from Alabama. The other offers that Barnett holds are all mostly Power 5 schools and more will have to be offering these upcoming months.

4. Divine Child 2018 DE Aidan Hutchinson - Michigan

- It's not very often that an elite defensive end comes through Michigan, but in the Class of 2018 which was loaded with Division 1 DE's, it's Hutchinson at the top. Hutchinson has the size, motor, awarenss, reactions, and hands/strength to make opposing lineman look silly. At 6'6" 250 lbs not very many lineman this will have an answer for Hutchinson as he looks to also dominate as a TE on offense or where ever he is needed.

College interest: LSU was shockingly the first school to offer Hutchinson in 2015. 3 days following the LSU offer, Michigan offered and that's where Hutchinson is committed. Aidan's father, Chris was formerly an All-American at Michigan.

3. Cass Tech 2019 ATH Jaren Mangham

- Mangham has only had 1 year of high school football in Michigan after playing in Ohio as a Freshman. Mangham is a tremendous athlete who excelled big time as a runningback last year as he had 2 rushing touchdowns in Cass Tech's win over Eisenhower in the semi-finals which proved huge later in the game. Mangham also has the ability to line up in a Slot or other receiver position and use his size and speed as a mismatch. The potential of Mangham as a linebacker is also an option for coaches to consider as his athletic traits and talents can also be translated to the defensive side of the ball.

College interest: Mangham since joining Cass Tech has received all 28 of his offers. Some of Mangham's offers are; Arizona, Colorado, Kentucky, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Oregon, and UCLA. Things are going to pickup even more for Mangham these next 2 years.

2. Belleville 2019 OT Devontae Dobbs

- The state's #1 2019 prospect has proven through all of the trials this off-season that he is more than worthy of holding the top the spot. Dobbs made history when he attended the Opening which is normally reserved for upcoming seniors only as well as being invited to All-American games as a sophomore which is unheard of because he won't be able to play in them until after his senior season. Dobbs is the total package at Offensive Tackle as he's big, strong, moves great, uses his hands well, and has a fiery competitive fire in him.

College interest: Dobbs initially made history when Kentucky offered, making him the youngest player in Michigan to receive an SEC offer in 2015. Since then Dobbs has earned 33 more offers with the most recent being Clemson who are the defending National Champions. His 34 more offers include mostly anyone who is capable of landing a future 5-star recruit.

1. Cass Tech 2018 CB Kalon Gervin

- It's no surprise here that Gervin is the state's #1 prospect. The Cornerback has drawn interest at an extremely high rate as Gervin's 46 offers are the most ever recorded from someone out of Michigan. So what makes the former Notre Dame commit so special? It's his ability to do everything required as a CB. He covers receivers extremely tight, QB's do not even look his way - they definitely did not in 2016 and we find it hard to believe they will in 2017. Gervin was timed on multiple occastions at college camps this summer of running a 4.4 forty-yard dash so his speed is near perfect. Gervin also has phenominal ball skills and can locate the ball quicky/feel out the receivers timing - which results in Gervin making a play.

College interest: The 46 offers were recently trimmed by Gervin to just 5: Louisville, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Virginia Tech. A few weeks after he announced the top 5, Alabama hosted Gervin for a visit and they offered. Gervin's decision will likely come after his senior season is over.
