Super 11 in Michigan, July Week 1 - Class of 2018 Players with the most FBS offers

The D Zone is the only entity that has tracked every single; Division 1, 2, 3, NAIA, and JUCO offer & commit since the Class of 2014 in Michigan. For this weeks Super 11 we provide you with the Class of 2018 players in Michigan who simply hold the most offers that are Division 1 - FBS schools.

The Super 11 is a weekly feature done by The D Zone to highlight 11 key points throughout the week or in general related to Michigan High School Sports.

1. Cass Tech 2018 CB Kalon Gervin - 45

- Gervin has been a hot name on the recruiting trail lately, but the offers have fizzled out as he approaches a decision. Gervin was invited and accepted an invite to play in the Under Armour All-American Game last week and was previously committed to Notre Dame. You can view all of Kalon Gervin's offers here.


2. Milan 2018 OT/DT Mike Furtney - 24

- Furtney, a Wisconsin commit was also offered by 2 D1-FCS schools before he committed. Schools from coast-to-coast wanted to make an impression for the ferocious lineman. You can view all of Mike Furtney's offers here.

3. Oak Park 2018 DT/OG Marquan McCall - 23

- McCall is committed to Kentucky and is a fierce competitor who plays with a mean streak. Oregon offered after he committed to Kentucky a few months ago. McCall played just 2 games in 2016 so he still has a lot of upside as a senior. You can view all of Marquan McCall's offers here.

Tied 4. Farmington Hills Harrison 2018 LB Ovie Oghoufo - 20

- The versatile athlete committed very early to Notre Dame last summer and received 2 FBS offers and 1 FCS offer afterwards including from Notre Dame's rival - Stanford. You can view all of Ovie Oghoufo's offers here.

Tied 4. Gibraltar Carlson 2018 TE "ATH" Jaylan Franklin - 20

- The 20th D1-FBS offer that Franklin received was the one he committed on as Franklin will head across Lake Michigan to Wisconsin. You can view all of Jaylan Franklin's offers here.

Tied 4. Rochester Adams 2018 CB Vincent Gray - 20

- Gray has received offers from all over and has yet to make a decision, but like Ovie and Jaylen they hold 20 FBS offers and 1 FCS offer each. Schools love the length that Gray has. You can view all of Vincent Gray's offers here.

Tied 4. U of D Jesuit 2018 OL/DL Carlos Vettorello - 20

- Vettorello on Sunday July 2nd released a top 6 of; Boston College, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Oregon State, and Pittsburgh so a decision should be coming before the Fall. You can view all of Carlos Vettorello's offers here.

Tied 4. West Bloomfield 2018 WR Taj Mustapha - 20

- Mustapha steadily remained a name to know and then as he was blowing up closed down his recruiting process and committed to Wisconsin. You can view all of Taj Mustapha's offers here.

Tied 5. Cass Tech 2018 DE Andre Carter - 18

- Carter received a lot of MAC offers and then when the Power 5 schools offered he committed to Western Michigan. You can view all of Andre Carter's offers here.

Tied 5. Cass Tech 2018 LB DeAndre Square - 18

- This one definitely shocks us that more haven't offered. Square is arguably a top 5 player in the state. Square will be headed to the SEC to play at Kentucky. You can view all of DeAndre Square's offers here.

Tied 5. Detroit King 2018 WR/DB Jaeveyon Morton - 18

- Like Carter they hold 19 offers, but 1 is FCS and doesn't apply to this list. Morton is a constant big-play threat who racked up offers despite his 5'9" height. Iowa State will be getting a stud. You can view all of Jaeveyon Morton's offers here.

Tied 5. U of D Jesuit 2018 RB/LB Elijah Collins - 18

- As injuries piled up for the Cubs in stepped Collins who broke out as both a RB and LB. Collins is still overlooked despite nearly 20 offers. You can view all of Elijah Collins's offers here.

6. Belleville 2018 CB Davion Williams - 17

- A former 1-sport basketball player, Williams drew tons of attention due to his size, length, and athletic abilities. Michigan State will be adding a humble player who has plenty of untapped potential. You can view all of Davion Williams's offers here.

7. GRCC 2018 OL Jalen Mayfield - 16

- Mayfield is committed to Michigan. He was once committed to Minnesota before the Wolverines offered and soon after he committed to Michigan. You can view all of Jalen Mayfield's offers here.

8. Cass Tech 2018 WR Brandon Gray - 15

- Gray was the first offered player in the Class of 2018 back in April 2015. In recent months; Washington State, Minnesota, and Iowa State have offered Gray. You can view all of Brandon Gray's offers here.

9. East English Village 2018 OL Tyrone Sampson - 14

- Sampson was a freshman when Akron when first offered, his 2nd offer from Syracuse was nearly a year later and Sampson committed in April, 2017. You can view all of Tyrone Sampson's offers here.

Tied 10. Divine Child 2018 DE Aidan Hutchinson - 13

- Hutchinson burst on the scene after being offered by LSU and several more rolled in including Michigan which is where he's committed to. You can view all of Aidan Hutchinson's offers here.

Tied 10. Muskegon 2018 QB Ladarius Jefferson - 13

- Jefferson started his career as a Freshman at Muskegon, transferred to Mississippi as a sophomore, and returned to assist Muskegon as a junior on a big season that ended in the D3 state title game as runner-ups. You can view all of La'darius Jefferson's offers here.

Tied 10. Muskegon 2018 OT Antwan Reed - 13

- Reed is committed to Penn State, but nearly wasn't on this list as he transferred before the season to IMG, FL and then back to Muskegon during the season, none of his offers were while at IMG. You can view all of Antwan Reed's offers here.

Tied 11. West Bloomfield 2018 WR A.J. Abbott - 12

Tied 11. Country Day 2018 LB Kolin Demens - 12

- Demens older brother played at Michigan so he's considered a strong lean to Michigan, but has yet to make a decision. You can view all of Kolin Demens offers here.

Tied 11. Divine Child 2018 QB Theo Day - 12

- Day was first identified by Kentucky last June, but things didn't start picking up until the end of January 2017 when Michigan State offered and a handful of others did too. Day is committed to MSU. You can view all of Theo Day's offers here.
