An outright OK Blue title was on the line for GRCC as they visited Coopersville on Military Appreciation night for the final regular season game. Coopersville kept pace early on, but GRCC flexed their muscles when they needed to. Coopersville started off the game with a long methodical drive that ended in a 9 yard touchdown pass from Riley Johnson to Cayden Schneider to take the lead 7-0. 4 plays later Nolan Fugate would weave his way for a 42 yard touchdown run to tie it up. 2 defensive stops and Coopersville would go up 10-7 with a 20 yard FG by Garrett Buth. The lead would be short lived after a long Kick return, Fugate would sprint for a 58 yard TD run on the first play of the drive to go up 14-10. Catholic would strike again with an 8 yard TD run by Erik Grabow to put the Cougars up 21-10. Coopersville would drive down to the GRCC 7 after a 42 yard connection from Johnson to Schneider, but would be picked off on the next play. Catholic would get a 28 yard FG to end the first half 24-10. The Cougars would score on their first possesion as the two teams traded scores until Catholic would put it away.
