Muskegon 2018 QB/ATH La'Darius Jefferson has committed to Michigan State University on Saturday afternoon while on an official visit to East Lansing.

The state's most productive player in 2017 helped lead the Muskegon Big Reds to their 18th total state championship as Jefferson finished with 2,095 rushing yards and 1,213 passing yards for a total of 54 touchdowns in 2017.

Jefferson will come into MSU as an Athlete where the 6'2 200 lbs Jefferson will find a spot to play on the field when he enrolls at MSU and hits the practice field. A player like Jefferson doesn't come along often and MSU identified his talents during the season, which resulted in Jefferson's decommitment from Central Florida.

Jefferson has informed The D Zone that his upcoming official visit to Indiana has been cancelled and that he is 100% committed to MSU.

Jefferson will be using the Early National Signing Day period to sign with Michigan State.
