Team Strength(s) for 2017:
We currently have 88 players on our varsity roster. This added depth should be a big help this season. Our kicking game should be strong behind senior kicker Tim Hayden and Jr Punter Colton Alexander.
Biggest Shoes / Holes to Fill in 2017:
Blake Bogan was Mr. Everything for the Bobcats last season. His loss will be felt in all three phases of the program. We also lost a starting QB and three offensive linemen.
2017 Season Outlook:
I am excited to see how fast we can learn and embrace the changes we will install during fall practice. We are excited and optimistic that we can have a successful season in my first year at Grand Blanc High School.
Outlook on Conference/Division:
This is Grand Blanc's last season in the KLAA so all the games will be major events. Being away from Michigan high school football since 2004 I am not as clear to which programs are consistently the strongest. I do know that Canton was outstanding when I coached at Northville in 2004 and they seem to still be there as the team to beat.
