Traverse City Saint Francis had no problems putting away Kalkaska on Saturday afternoon for their homecoming game as they won by the score of 67-8. TCSF opened the game forcing a punt after forcing KHS to go 3 and out, Danny Passinault returned the punt for 47 yards, from there, the rout was on as they led 33-0 at the end of the first quarter.

We'll break down their performances below:

Traverse City Saint Francis:

2019 DT/OG Spencer Hathaway is a 6' 270 lbs interior mauler who made the most out of playing in 1 quarter with some nice defensive stops and blocked well on offense.

2019 OLB/TE Tom Hegewald is a 6'2 200 lbs prospect who played 1 quarter but was so dominant on defense coming between gaps that Kalkaska could do nothing. Hegewald recently visited Dayton and should see more interest soon from colleges.

2019 CB/RB Artie Dutmers is a 5'10 170 lbs strong cover corner who also stands out on special teams and offense. He had some nice carries in the 1st quarter and scored from 1 yard out. Dutmers holds 2 Division III roster spots.

2019 RB/S Evan McGee is a 5'11 180 lbs versatile playmaker for the Glads who scored 2 touchdowns in the opening quarter from 13 and 3 yards out.

2019 DB/RB George Mackey is 5'11 180 lbs and received his 5th Division III roster spot over the weekend from Kenyon. He didn't need to do much in this game, he played in all 3 phases.

2019 DT/OT Robert Watkoski has done well the past 2 times we've seen TCSF. Watkowski played mostly in the 1st quarter and is 6'1 250 lbs.

2019 DT Mitch Westman 6' 200 lbs interior NG prospect who made some plays in the limited time he played on defense.

2019 OC/DT Tommy Gallagher is a 6'1 225 lbs center who leads an offensive line that has been near perfect each time we've seen them play.

2019 QB/S Danny Passinault is a the Gladiators most versatile player and he didn't get to show off much on Saturday, but did in the little time he could.

2021 RB/LB Aidan Schmuckel will be one of TCSF's key players these next 2 years, he got some good playing time on this day and capped off his day with a 45 yard touchdown run.

Kalkaska:

2020 WR/DB Keagan Burley was one of a very bright spots for the Blazers on this day as he returned a kickoff from 96 yards out for a touchdown. Burley had some good effort plays to fight for yards during the game. He'll be a player that Kalkaska hopes can get; bigger, stronger, and faster this off-season and be a key piece as a senior.
