Arguably the state's #1 junior CB prospect has seen an increase in his recruiting process the past few weeks and has great cover skills, speed, and physicality to frustrate opposing receivers.
Iowa State is the first Big 12 and 2nd Power 5 program to offer Heard.

8/23/2017: An unfortunate injury in track disabled him from performing in front of colleges this summer, so now that, that's in the past look for the Hawks CB to be in the discussion as one of the best cornerbacks in the state in 2019. Heard is a physical, lock-down type corner, who covers extremely well and suffocates receivers. Heard has elite ball skills and tracks the ball great. He can cover the 6'3+ receivers well.
College interest: As stated above there's a huge gap in his process this summer. Heard holds 5 offers. In these next 2 years, he'll be receiving more heavy interest.
